Embark on a full-day trip to the enchanting Douro Valley from Lisbon, being picked up at your hotel, or another location of your choice, by one of our friendly drivers. The journey will take around 4 hours, during which you can get to know and enjoy the views and landscapes offered by the N222 national road, considered the best road to drive on in Portugal, due to the surrounding Douro region. 

Once you arrive in the Douro Valley, pass through the region of Peso da Régua (capital of Port wine) and be dazzled by the best that the Douro has to offer: the breathtaking landscapes, the picturesque nature, the winding and imposing Douro River, the colourful terraces and the vineyards of the various Quintas that line the Douro Valley. These are the elements that make the Douro Valley one of Portugal's most sought-after regions, and led UNESCO to recognise the Alto Douro Wine Region as a World Heritage Site in 2001. 

It's in this region, Régua, that you'll have the opportunity to visit one or two Douro Quintas, get to know its surroundings, learn more about the culture of the Douro and have a Port wine tasting in Douro Wine Region, a region that has been producing wine for over 2,000 years. Here, if you wish, you will also have the opportunity to have lunch and taste not only the different Port wines but also traditional Douro delicacies. Once you've finished visiting the Quinta, head to the Pinhão region, also classified by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, where you'll find the beautiful Pinhão railway station, characterised by its 24 panels of typically Portuguese tiles. These panels depict landscapes of the Douro river and aspects of the grape harvest, created by João Oliveira in 1937.

After a tour of the Douro full of wine and gastronomic experiences and breathtaking views, relax in our comfortable vehicle, leaving the driver in charge of making your journey back to Lisbon, while you contemplate the view of the Douro Valley at sunset. On arrival in Lisbon, you will be conveniently dropped off at your hotel in Lisbon at the end of the day.
